Kia Silva, Psy.D. is married with three children, a licensed psychologist, and founder of Atlanta Prosper Psychological Services LLC. Her vision of global prosperity begins with empathy and the awareness of individual needs and systematic challenges. Her therapeutic work helps to clarify one’s values and goals while promoting empowerment and growth.
Kia is an alum of HBCU, Hampton University, and she completed her doctoral degree at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology. Her training experiences were varied and included years with the Carl Rogers Institute of Chicago, University of Chicago Medical Center, and Midtown Psychotherapy Associates in Atlanta.
Kia’s client population includes people with anxiety, mood disorders, eating disorders, and chronic illness. She is passionate about increasing accessibility to holistic health resources and education in marginalized communities. Volunteerism is an essential element of Kia’s life and her experiences with cancer within her family system inspired her to join The Sacred Transition’s team.
